Happy December! I wanted to announce that I am completely booked through January, and have a waiting list going for Feb 2015.  I also wanted to thank everyone for their continued support, offering your skin as a canvas to me for your creative collection. I look forward to 2015 and traveling to a few new places, including England, Spain, possible Nashville TN and Toronto Canada, Seattle, Oregon Off the Map, as well as Phoenix for Hell City in August! Here is a new painting I finished, Flying High. 24″ by 24″ Oil on raw wood.  This painting includes the triangle that you see in much of my art.  ‘No progress without sacrifice.’ In order to make progress in anything, something must be sacrificed. This thought can be plugged into any area in life. Keep striving, keep reaching, only settle to rest and replenish. Reach for the stars and know that you must leave somethings behind  on your journey.  Move through with compassion, yet still applying self care, as this world can eat you alive.  I love this painting, and the journey I went through painting just it. I currently have gone through my waiting list for December, and am now completely booked. I have a few dates available to offer in January. Following that would be a waiting list for February, just to inform you on time frame. I know with the holidays and travel it makes things tricky, but we always need to find time for ourselves, so lets start planning before another waiting list begins! Thanks so much!

As 2014 comes to a close I would love to thank everyone for all your support, if it wasnt for my lovely clients I would still be painting alone in my studio, but thanks to you I have canvas that is alive and breathing, sharing my art which means more to me then anything.  2014 was a great year, not too many complaints, I feel we as a whole are becoming more aware and mindful and hope that 2015 brings more love, peace and positive vibes!  Cant wait to see you all again, soon!! Black Sage Studio is a brand new tattoo studio and gallery,  situated in the mountains of Evergreen, in the La Plaza. The La Plaza is owned and operated by a wonderful couple, Phil and Barb who are also the owners and operators of the Evergreen Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Garden. This wonderful gallery, apart of the American Oil Painters Society, is located in the largest of the 3 buildings, at 3042 Evergreen Pkwy. Arrive a few minutes early to take a stroll through the gallery sculpture garden. I couldn’t have decided on a more perfect location nestled behind it. I love the adobe architecture style of this building and its location directly across from Elk Meadow Park, where I enjoy mountain biking and hiking. I am excited about this new endeavor and can’t wait to share it with each client.

Travel Hints and getting here:

Evergreen is located conveniently off of I-70, about one hour west into the mountains from Denver International Airport. Take 70 west to the Evergreen Parkway heading into town. 4.5 miles, turn left onto Lewis Ridge rd. In 200 feet turn right onto Evergreen Parkway Access road.  Head straight just .3 miles and pass the beautiful front of The Evergreen Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture grounds. Turn left on Hilltop Rd, then your first left into parking lot. Building 3072 is to the right. Suite #105 come on in.

There are point to point shuttles that can take you to and from the airport and hotels, or there are plenty of car rentals on sight. Look for great deals on Priceline, and fly Southwest for some of the cheapest airfare.
